Aside from two days of outstanding horse racing action, Sapphire Coast Turf Club’s Bega Cup Carnival is a great reason for racegoers to visit the region and enjoy both the racing and other coastal attractions.

SCTC’s Bega Cup Carnival is just three weeks away to be held on the weekend of Saturday 29 and Sunday, 30 January 2022.

The racing is headlined by the $80,000 Bega Cheese Bega Cup Showcase meeting on Sunday, with more than $500,000 in prizemoney over the two days.

Saturday evening sees the Bega Cup Calcutta held at Club Sapphire in Merimbula, with the inaugural Bega Cup Carnival Golf Day from midday on the Friday (28 January) at Tura Beach Country Club.

The four-person Ambrose event features plenty of different prizes totalling more than $2,000 plus a golden shot hole offering a $2,500 hole in one prize.
